⚠️ Scam Alert — Fake Court Calls
We’ve received reports of a phone scam where callers claim to be from a “Criminal Processing Division” and say you have a warrant for failing to appear in Judge Puffenberger’s court. They may then demand money to “clear” the warrant.

Please know: The Lucas County Probate Court will never call about warrants or ask for payment over the phone.

If you receive a suspicious call, hang up and contact the court directly using the number on our official website—not the number in the caller’s message.
